Winners of ProSPER.Net-Scopus Young Scientist Awards announced

The winners of the 2009 ProSPER.Net-Scopus Young Scientist Awards were announced and felicitated in an event held at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand on 3 June 2009.

The three winners and twelve runners-up, in the award categories of Business, Engineering and Technology and Agriculture and Natural Resources, are all prominent young scholars in the Asia-Pacific region.

ProSPER.Net celebrates first anniversary

ProSPER.Net celebrated the completion of one year since its launch with a series of events hosted by one of its founding members, the Asian Institute of Technology, from 2-5 June 2009. Events included the third board meeting, the second General Assembly meeting, the Symposium on Sustainable Development: Emerging Issues and New Leaders in conjunction with the first annual ProSPER.Net-Scopus Young Scientist Award in Sustainable Development, and the ProSPER.Net Symposium on Sustainability in Business Education.
